Boys hoopsters headed for state

The Vikings (19-2) won the Western B divisional title for the second consecutive season on Feb. 23 in Ronan. (The Vikings then won their second straight state championship a week later.)

Bigfork won all three games at the divisional by at least 10 points and mounted a defense of its state title on March 6 at the Belgrade Special Events Center.

In the divisional championship game, Clayton Reichenbach scored 13 points in the title game and Logan Gilliard (see above story) and Anders Epperly each scored a dozen. Bigfork opened against the third seed out of the Southern B divisional.
