As for Trump, I tried to warn you...

Just a short one tonight and a message to members of both parties.

At least 9 years ago I started writing columns about the inevitable snapback we could all expect from the Age of Political Correctness.

Well, folks, it's here.

Whether you love Trump, hate Trump, fear Trump or don't think it matters, as I believe, Trump seems unstoppable.

And the more the media and Democrats try to embarrass and throw epithets at him, the bigger his support grows.

But why? Simple.

Rank-and-file Americans are sick and tired of being shamed and ashamed of think in a way that a certain few people believe they should think and act.

They are tired of being called racists, sexists, xenophobes, religious zealots, crackers, hicks, stingy, evil and just about everything else just because the Politically Correct minority doesn't like they way rank-and-file Americans really think.

Americans are also tired of these do-nothing parties who spit and kick sand at each other but act very similarly once they get their members back to D.C. and state capitals.

Let's face it: It is this way because our elected officials want it this way. Cable TV is not the disease but the symptom.

I really don't believe people even care what Trump's beliefs are. They are just happy he won't allow anyone to shame him into apologizing or taking back his stance.

Another thing I've warned about: The 1960s were the inevitable result of oppression by The Man, who were literally mostly Middle-Aged White Men. In those days, Republicans fought for civil rights and over-used government to keep the Status Quo.

Now, after about 40 years of Thought Crime and Social Shaming, it has turned.

Today, young Democrats use the legal system and large government to control the populace and claim the torch of defending civil rights for everyone except middle-class white people.

Do not fear, fellow citizens, a good democratic republic needs this scouring from time to time. We are on a pendulum that swings back and forth and it is now swinging back to the right.

I wish it would stop in the middle somewhere with fiscal conservatism and social acceptance and the will for people on both sides to let others have their freedoms and stop forcing one another's opinions on the others - at the threat of shaming, litigation or violence.

One can only hope.

Heil Trump!
