Liberals need to learn: Trump was our 'wrench'

Liberals frothing about Trump's character and lack of political correctness are waaaaaaay off the issue.

And until Liberals can focus on the real reasons Trump will become the president, they will continue to lose ground politically and socially as the rural Americans become more emboldened. Trump is the symptom, not the disease.

He was a wrench millions of Americans could throw into the machine to try and break it.

He was a megaphone through which millions of disenfranchised Americans who practically gave up on their ability to be taken seriously, could shout through.

And it is getting worse for liberals.

These ignored and shamed Americans are mad at their own elected officials for saying one thing and acting differently in D.C. and state capitals. Trump was, in effect, a third-party candidate who could actually win.

Whether they like Trump or not, Liberals need to wake up and understand what's happening.

The GOP now controls 37 states, 3100 counties, the Senate, The House, and, soon, the Supreme Court. And if the GOP majority members do not fall in line with Trump's policies, they will be punished by their own people.

The day of overwhelming P.C. and shaming of Christians, rural Americans, white people, men, etc. are changing. Predictably so.

The Man of the 60s was overthrown because He went too far. But The Man, who controls the media and social issues, pushed too far, and now will face His comeuppance, as The Man always does in our unique form of democracy.

If I was a Liberal and wanted to regain some ground, I'd move to the middle, start addressing rural issues, quit calling everyone names who don't agree with them, and try and reach some reasonable compromises.

Or, we can continue with this trend and eventually we will have a Constitutional Convention and, basically, a second civil war.

I can only hope Trump can greatly reduce the daily influence of the federal government on Americans, protect our personal freedoms and stop these one-size-fits-all laws that piss off half of the country no matter what the desired effect is.

Trump might be the Antichrist. Then again, he could be our country's savior.
