LIBERALS: Trumpets don't want speeches, tears or good intentions. We want results.
Liberals, your party is floundering. Either learn the political lessons clearly presented by the election or continue with these failed practices, policies and rhetoric.
I do not in any way care.
I started Vlivertarian after I realized the system was fixed back in 1994. But this "love each other" crap is for people who live on top of mountains.
I live in a 3D world where we have to figure out ways to get along, attack ideas and not personalities, protect the rights of others and stop shoving their personal beliefs down each other's throats. Take on some personal responsibility. Realize that we all have different challenges and tragedies and that not many are all that unique when it comes to surviving in a country ruled by the 1%.
The biggest problem is when someone completely dismisses the feelings of another then claims to be tolerant and morally superior and in it for the "little guys." The second is supporting failed and expensive policies because it feels good to support them and it makes you a better person. Horse excrement.
We have literally spent billions, if not trillions, over the last 50 years on education, poverty, inner city violence, middle class expansion, race relations. And all are worse than they were when we started. As for the GOP, you've lost the wars on drugs, crime, illegal immigration, P.C., and terrorism. And spent trillions doing it.
I, for one, am tired of the rhetoric. I think Trump supporters are, too.
I want results. I don't want a great speech or tears. I want the lives of Americans to improve and that means we need jobs, not sweet sound bites and good intentions.
If you don't like Trump, join the very large crowd. But if Liberals and the media want to regain some political and social footing, they need to look inward, do some re-evaluation, create a message that resonates with more Americans, figure out ways to reach compromise in order to move their agenda forward. And stop calling names.
Or, they can continue to freak out about Trump and lose more and more ground until we either have a real civil war, a Constitutional Convention or a country that looks a lot like it did in the 1960s and 70s.
