Cops arrest alleged Sitting Duck robbery accomplice
Update on January 29 Sitting Duck Armed Robbery Based on further investigation by Lake County Sheriff's Detectives, a felony arrest warrant was issued for the arrest of 33 year old Crystal Dolar, of Bigfork, for solicitation of armed robbery and tampering with a witness. Crystal was arrested in the Bigfork area this morning with the assistance of Flathead County Sheriff's Office.
Montana Codes Annotated defines solicitation as "with the purpose that an offense be committed, the person commands, encourages, or facilitates the commission of that offense."
The same penalties that apply to the offense also apply to solicitation of the offense.
Though investigation remains active, it is believed that there are no additional suspects in relation to this incident. Crystal will be transported to the Lake County Detention Facility. I have copied the original press release regarding this investigation below for your reference:
Previous story: February 16, 2017 An investigation into an armed robbery that took place at the Sitting Duck Bar in Woods Bay has resulted in the arrest of a juvenile for the crime. The robbery occurred on January 29, at about 12:30 am.
The male suspect entered the bar with a handgun and demanded money. The suspect was clothed from head to toe and pointed a gun at the bar staff and patrons. The suspect fled the scene on foot. Evidence was collected from the area of the robbery and local deputies, in concert with Lake County Sheriff's Detectives were able to identify a suspect.
