Lakeside students made MSU dean’s list

BOZEMAN -- Montana State University placed Lakeside’s Katie Goodnough, Mariah Grimes, Emily Mitchell and Brianna Smith on its Fall 2017 undergraduate honor rolls.

Goodnough, a senior studying Human Development and Family Science with a minor in Women’s and Gender studies, earned a 4.0 GPA to make the President’s list. (See picture,) The Montana Alpha Chapter of Pi Beta Phi President is pursuing a career that involves serving and helping others in her community and she is an intern in the Big Brothers Big Sisters. As a part of her internship experience, she will mostly assist the Special Events Coordinator with planning for The Big Event, however she will also work with program staff as well. Katie, who is Montana born and raised, enjoys hiking, camping, fishing and photography in her spare time as well and cooking and spending time with her friends and family. After graduation, her greatest hope (besides getting a job) is to become a dog mom. There are two MSU honor roll lists: the President’s and the Dean’s Honor Roll. Students must complete a minimum of 12 degree-eligible credit hours to be on either list. Students with a perfect 4.0 grade point average for the semester were named to the President’s Honor Roll. Students with a 3.5 GPA or higher made the Dean’s Honor Roll.
