Chamber needs support for fireworks show

(UPDATE: We are one-third of the way to our fundraising goal with just under $5,000 raised so far! THANK YOU to everyone that has donated thus far.)

The Lakeside 4th of July Fireworks show is a touchstone summer event on Flathead Lake. The unique show launched from the barge off the shore of Lakeside has become a local tradition that we do not want to lose. Due to its significance to Lakeside, our chamber members, and seasonal visitors, the Chamber has agreed to organize the fundraising for the annual fireworks show.

We know many of you have generously contributed in the past and we thank you for your participation. We look forward to your continued support of this effort. This year’s show is anticipated to be the most stunning show to date, anticipated to last just over 18 minutes and be choreographed to music. There will be 70 percent more shots than previous shows, and most importantly, we will be employing a remote ignition system that will ensure a safer and smoother firework show.

Our fundraising goal for this year’s show is $15,000.
