Somers to host circus Somers Company Town Project will host the Culpepper and Merriweather Circus for two performances at 2 and 4:30 p.m., Sunday, June 25. Presale tickets are $7 for children and $10 for adults. Those prices rise to $8 and $13, respectively, on the day of the show. Presale tickets can be purchased at Sliters locations in Bigfork, Somers and Lakeside, at the Somers Bay Café and at the Somers Company Town Museum. Presale tickets can also be reserved by calling 866-244-8676.
Somers Company Town Museum is open Sunday’s 1 to 4 p.m. Stop in and learn about the history of Somers, a town started by the Great Northern Railroad in 1901 to produce railroad ties. On the Rails to Trails path in Somers!
The PTA needs you The PTA is currently in urgent need of a few good parents and teachers to step into leadership positions. This is a great opportunity to collaborate and advocate for SMS and LES students and teachers. Applications are available at the offices, online at www.Somersdist29.org, or pta@somersdist29.org. Our 2018 Somers/Lakeside PTA Alumni Scholarships have been handed out. This year, we are happy to say, that due to our budget availability, and your accepting vote, we were able to give away $2000 to these hard-working students. The applicants were all amazing! Thank you for allowing us to help them continue their journey into higher education.

Kindergarten Colts We offer a Kindergarten Colts class taught by Mrs. Torgerson, which is a full-day program and will have its own curriculum and activities. After completing Colts, students transition to kindergarten the following year. Colts must be 5 by Sept. 10 to be eligible. More information will be available at Kindergarten Registration.
