Library News & Notes
September Volunteer of the Month Stephanie Venrick
Stephanie has been a volunteer at the Library since moving to Rollins in 2015. She currently covers the night shift (4 to 7 p.m.) on Tuesday and says, “I love it when it is quiet and I am surrounded just by the whispers coming from the books.” In addition, she is responsible for housekeeping and the “Unpublished Authors” section.
When not at the Library, she is a member of the Lakeside Community Club and vice-president of the Women of Rollins.
She is best known for the homemade biscotti she makes for all the bake sales. She has also appeared in stage productions in Bigfork and loves to travel.
Life is full since retiring from the City of Seattle where she was the Director of Communications Technologies. She is happy her Montana cowboy husband brought her to the Flathead Valley and built their home overlooking Flathead Lake and Wild Horse Island out of Rollins. Stephanie affirms, “she is one lucky woman.”
