Fun Run helps equip new playground

SOMERS -- More than a dozen kids and half as many adults enjoyed the Somers Community Project Family Fun Run Oct. 14 at the Railroad Museum.

The kids, many dressed in Halloween costumes, ran a 1K,while the grown-ups ran a 5K on a chilly Saturday morning to raise money for equipment for a proposed playground at the Somers TrailHead.
